If your question is not answered below please don’t hesitate to contact me
Where are you located? Do you deliver?
How can I place an order? How much notice is required?
Ordering can be done via email or phone. Consultations are available for special events via a scheduled appointment.
It is recommended to order your cake with as much notice as possible for your convenience and to avoid disappointment. Please check the availability calender and contact me to discuss your date as I will always try to accommodate you where I can.
How much can I expect to pay for an order?
There are many factors that influence the pricing of a cake – flavours, icing, difficulty, special requirements, size and required tools.
To obtain a more definitive quote on a cake please provide as much information as possible including date required, catering numbers, finger or dessert slices, flavour, icing preferences and design ideas or the code name of a specific cake from the website. Code names are placed above each photo in the gallery pages.
Please also check the pricing section for starting costs.
Are alternative dietary requirements catered for?
Yes, I do take orders that are gluten, dairy or nut free however as I use only one workspace I cannot guarantee there are no traces of these products in my cakes.
Do you have a shopfront? What are your opreating hours?
Little Miss Cupcake is a home-based business in Ngunnawal which at this point does not have a shopfront.
Operating hours are Tuesday to Sunday 8am-4pm.
Administration hours are generally Tuesday to Saturday 10am-4pm
What is the minimum order for cupcakes? What is the minimum order for one flavour?
The minimum order for cupcakes is 12 standard or 24 mini. The minimum quantity for one flavour is 6 cupcakes.

Do you offer taste testing?
Yes I offer samples boxes for pick up. The samples boxes can include any of the cake and cupcake flavours as well as icing and filling options to your requirements. Samples boxes are $5 per flavour.
Can I adjust the details of a specific cake design? Can I send you a picture of a cake from an external source?
Yes you can change any of the design elements (eg colour, characters) of a cake from the gallery according to your personal preference.
I am happy to accept cake photos from an external source as inspiration only. The final product may include slight adjustments due to differing methods of decorating but to also make it unique for you.
Can I make changes to my original order? What if I need to cancel the order?
All changes must be made 2 weeks prior to the event date. I cannot guarantee any changes after this time.
If you need to cancel your order the 50% deposit is non-refundable.
Do you have stands for hire?
Yes I have a number of cupcake towers and cake plates available for hire. All items have a safety bond on them which is returned to you when the stand is brought back in original condition.
For more information please see the Display section.
How will my order be packaged?
All cupcakes will be in standard cake boxes. Inserts can be arranged for specific designs. Gift box packaging is available at an extra cost. Please see the pricing section for more information.
All cakes come on a cake board and placed in a box. Some high and novelty cakes may come in the base of a box only. Feel free to contact me to discuss your preference.
How is it best to transport my order?
Cakes and cupcakes are best transported on the flattest surface available, which is usually the boot in most cars, providing the weather conditions aren’t too hot for this option. Another option is the floor of the car. Please take into consideration your vehicles capacity for transporting cakes prior to picking up your order, especially if you have ordered a high cake. Unfortunately Little Miss Cupcake cannot take responsibility for any damage incurred during transportation or storage of the cake by customers.
How is it best to store my order?
Cakes covered in fondant can be stored at room temperature away from any sunlight. Cakes with buttercream, chocolate, ganache or fresh fruit will generally need to be stored in the fridge.
Cupcakes are best kept in the boxes provided or in airtight containers at room temperature until required for serving, weather permitting.
Please be mindful of storing cakes and cupcakes with fondant decorations in the fridge. The moisture in the fridge may cause the decorations to sweat and/or wilt.
